


Challenge either yourself or other teams in the Midwest on a fast, smooth 40K course. The roads are flat and are ideal to hammer on. A team consists of 2 4 riders. This challenge is open to all categories and citizen racers. The course is not closed. A 20K TT, new this year, will be offered as well. 20k will stop at the turnaround and get a ride back in the van. Must do at least 1 tt to be eligible for the overall IRS awards. *May 12 event maybe cancelled if the Bob Jordan Race gets postponed. Look for info at indianaraceseries before the May 12 event.
Participants will receive points based on their respective category. The top 3 teams and overall individuals will also receive a bonus of 10, 5, and 3 points. In addition, 10 participation points will be awarded (50 max). So, if a racer wins both the team and has the fastest individual time trial, he/she will earn 270 points if they do 5 time trials.
Registration: For the Sunday events, registration begins at 7:00 a.m. at Monrovia High School. Racers will meet at 7:45 in front of registration for pre-race meeting, then first racer will go off at 7:50 a.m. For the Saturday event, registration starts at 6:45 a.m., the pre-race meeting is at 7:30, and the first rider goes off promptly at 7:45.
Directions: From Indianapolis, take I-70 west to exit 59. Travel south on Rt. 39 to Monrovia. At the stop sign, turn right, then take a quick left. The school is ¼ mile on your left. Look for signs.
Fees/Awards: $20 to enter, with no late fee. $15 for the 20K with special prizes, etc. At selected time trials, put your name in the fish bowl and at the end of the event one lucky person will walk away with a Festina watch. Must be present to win. Awards to the top team, top tandem team, top three men, and the top woman at every race; overall awards listed below. See www.indianaraceseries.com for standings.
